Since 1885 the company has been buying directly from European steelworks and reselling them to foundries, carpentry workshops, shipyards and engineering companies, with certified material available in stock and door-to-door deliveries by road, rail and ship.
Immediate availability is the core of the service: those working on commission cannot wait for the annealing window at a steelworks. In the warehouses in Genoa and Rivalta Scrivia, carbon steel sheets from 3 to 130 mm thick, flat plates, profiles, welded and seamless tubes are stored, ready for pick-up and accompanied by a 3.1 test certificate according to EN 10204.

The offer is organized into three families, all made of European-made carbon steel and all certified to the international reference standards.
Plates for boilers and pressure vessels
Boilers’ sheets conform to the American standards ASME and the European standards EN 10028, in thicknesses from 5 to 150 mm. They include materials for high-temperature service, those for low temperatures, and qualities with HIC tests for acidic environments.
Steel sheets, bulb-shaped plates and profiles for shipbuilding and repair
Marine sheet in grades A, AH36, DH36 and EH36, from 4 to 150 mm, sandblasted and primed, with ultrasonic controls on request. Together with bulb plates, structural sheets and commercial profiles certified by the main classification bodies.
Welded pipes, seamless pipes and special sheets
Welded and seamless pipes, boiler tubes, galvanized gas and water pipes, square and rectangular pipes. In the same line are wear-resistant and high-elastic limit plates for lifting, earthmoving and lightweight structures.
Additional machining, testing and testing on request
Upon request, it is possible to agree on any additional tests not included in the list, by defining them during the ordering process.

Rivalta Scrivia (Tortona, AL)
Central warehouse located at Strada Savonesa 18, in a central position between Milan and Genoa. It is here that most of the steel from European producers is stored. The first-class railway connection is connected to the Rivalta Terminal Europa, on the High-Speed line that connects the North West and North East of Europe with the port of Genoa.
